It is my mission to help women and the next generation of leaders see their potential and step into their power—at work, in relationships, and in their lives.

I was editor-in-chief of legendary young women’s brand Seventeen for the better part of a decade—an entire generation grew up and into their power with me.

I am the author of The Big Life, a guide for ambitious young women who are changing what it means to be powerful and successful in the world—for everyone. Its message of building a life on your own terms has connected to women of all ages and stages.

Most recently, I built a high-profile media and events platform, New Power Media, creating communities of men and women who are devoted to helping each other achieve and succeed.

But what drives me is leading provocative conversations—over dinner or on stages across the country—about the ways in which women and the next generation are redefining power and success. My goal is to inspire audiences to embrace change and build bridges between generations.

I’ve been honored to be a speaker for major conferences and corporations including SXSW, TEDx, Microsoft and Facebook. I have loved being a consultant and a regular contributor for Good Morning America. (And I had a blast as a guest judge for four seasons on America’s Next Top Model)!

If my work resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Please contact me here.

INSIDE THE BIG LIFE

“Work-life balance is a sham. It doesn’t exist. And I don’t think it should... For you, right now, there is no point when work ends and life begins. It’s all work all the time and all life all the time. You want what you do for a living to feel like actual living. That’s the magic trick.”
